The term ‘gua sha’ (or kerokan) refers to a traditional chinese medicine practise in which a blunt tool is used to firmly massage the skin in order to stimulate blood circulation.
The tool traditionally used for gua sha is most commonly a palm-sized, heart shaped flat stone of the same name, typically made of New Jade or Rose Quartz. It is used to break up tension often caused by water retention, muscle tightness, or other congestion, and also helps to boost blood circulation.

Roz I have been using this nearly a week now. I suffer from a puffy face especially in the morning and have really felt the benefit I even my go as far to say I may look a little younger? What is not to like?
