New Years Resolutions

A few days left of 2020 and I am sure everyone is excited to embark on a new year. We are all hopeful to see some normality restored in the new year, whenever that will be! So, it got us thinking, is a new year a fresh start? and what are your goals and resolutions for 2021? So here are our top tips in helping you set your resolutions and achieve them...

1. Set achievable goals

Dream big and be ambitious, but be realistic. Set goals that you know you can achieve within the time frame set. Bigger goals, set mile stones so you can measure your progress and won't be disheartened if you don't achieve the end goal straight away. 

2. Write your resolutions down

Writing your resolutions down will help you stick to them. Writing them down will help you feel a sense of accountability and so you have a higher chance of achieving them.

3. Plan Ahead

Planning ahead is crucial in achieving any resolutions you make. You should put yourself in situations that you know will help you achieve your goals. Setting a time frame for a start and end date is also crucial, as you are more likely to stick to them if you know when you want to complete it by. 

4. Monitor your progress

Once a month, reflect on what you have achieved and what you are hoping to achieve. Write these down. Measuring how far you have come in achieving your resolutions will help you stick to them without becoming disheartened. 

5. Reward Yourself

For every resolution or milestone you achieve, reward yourself. Knowing you have an end goal and something to look forward too can really help push you to get there.
