White Rabbit Skincare Review

A couple of weeks a go I received a message from White Rabbit Skincare saying they’d like to send me some of their products to review. I had been meaning to try White Rabbit Skincare for months so when I got the message of course I said yes! I’d heard so many great things about this brand and now I know exactly why.

White Rabbit Skincare is a vegan and cruelty free luxury skincare brand based in Scotland. Their products are all made by hand and all have use by dates so you can be sure your products are fresh and made with natural ingredients. All their products are free from SLS, Silicones, Artificial Fragrances and many other nasties which is fantastic for those wishing to move to natural skincare.

When I opened the box and found this cute little parcel inside I got so excited! Look at it! It’s so cute! It took all my will power to wait until I took this photo to open it. Inside I found a lovely little selection of skincare products. There was a bottle of Lime & Coconut Cleansing Water, Orange Blossom & Aloe Vera Toner, Coconut & Rosehip Calming Cream and the popular Chocolate Orange Lip Balm.

Where do I start..

Lime & Coconut Cleansing Water

This cleansing water smells and feels so fresh its unbelievable. It says apply with a cotton round and wipe over the face but as you may know, I got rid of cotton rounds a long time ago. Therefore I used my trustee muslin cloth. I don’t know if this has any effect on the performance of the product, I’ll assume it doesn’t. I love the feel of this cleansing water on the skin, it’s so gentle which is important for my sensitive skin. The lime gives it an amazing freshness and the coconut soothes perfectly.

Orange Blossom & Aloe Vera Toner

This Toner, I am in love. I admittedly haven’t used a toner for years as I never found one I liked that didn’t feel somewhat chemically and drying. However, this toner right here, is exactly what I’ve been missing from my life. You can use it after cleansing and/or as a freshen up throughout the day as it has a handy little spritz nozzle. This works perfectly for me as I have quite dry skin, especially in the winter and I’ve been using this throughout the day to freshen up my dry skin. I’ve ever sprayed it on top of makeup and it’s worked!

Coconut & Rosehip Calming Cream

Another tick in the box of excellent skincare here. Anything with rosehip is going to be lovely on my skin, as I’ve said before, I get very dry and irritated skin in the winter so anything that says calming is a yes from me. This cream is super thick and soft on the skin, I’ve been applying it at night so it can soak in without disturbance. I find it does sit on the skin for a while, kind of like suncream, so I don’t advise eating if you’ve just applied it. I applied it and then had ramen and I had dried ramen juice on my cheeks for hours before I looked in the mirror and noticed!

Chocolate Orange Lip Balm

So I have to try really hard to not eat this off my lips. It smells DIVINE, seriously. I love the size of it as well, perfect for popping in your handbag. It also absorbs really nicely into the lips, it doesn’t sit about and rub off with food but it also doesn’t just vanish as soon as you’ve applied it. You rub a tiny amount on your fingers and apply straight onto the lips, the formula makes this easy to do as well.

Overall I’ve really enjoyed trying out some products from White Rabbit Skincare, I’ll definitely be repurchasing some of them when they run out! My only critique would be the plastic lids on the calming cream and the toner, however White Rabbit Skincare run a really good recycling scheme where you can return your empties and receive 50p off each new product you order. Sounds good to me!
