Another month (can you believe it!), another fantastic The Vegan Kind box.
You can read our previous review of April's box here, but right now we are here to give you an insight into all the goodies which landed on our desk in the month of May.
As with all The Vegan Kind Boxes, 10p from each box sold is donated to a charitable cause (n this case TEEN VGN's Summer Camp) and a recipe card is included - we can't wait to try out the Summer Fruit Water from My Fruity Kitchen!
Tapped Birch Water, RRP £2.49/250ml
Described as 'Nature's Detox', this simple yet delicious drink is said to to keep your skin youthful and bones strong, thanks to the anti-oxidising manganese. It is also organic, low calorie (at 40 calories per 250ml) and currently available in 3 different flavours: Apple & Root Ginger, Bilberry & Lingonberry and Original (birch sap straight from the tree!)
Conscious Organic Raw Chocolate, RRP £3.00/50g
CHOCOLATE! And vegan, mint and yummy chocolate at that! All of Conscious Chocolate's products are made and wrapped by hand in East Grinstead, West Sussex, so if you are ever in the area make sure to pop by - you might even get to try something new!
Popchips, RRP £0.69/23g
Another product we squealed with delight with when we opened the box (Vego chocolate was last month's squeal-inducing product!), Popchips are the newest, tastiest version of crisps on the block, and the Sea Salt & Vinegar version is no exception - and at only 95 calories you can't go wrong!
Creative Nature Peanut Protein Bar, RRP £0.99
We are gym bunnies here at White Rabbit HQ (no pun intended), so we were really pleased to see another relevant product included in this month's box - in terms of it being something we could pop in our gym bag and have before or after a workout. This bar contains 7g of natural plant protein, is really tasty - and a lot more preferable to the often dry protein powders! - and we can see why it is called the 'healthy Snickers bar' by Creative Nature customers!
Jealous Sweets, RRP £2.50/50g
Whilst scoffing these (it really didn't take long...), we were in complete amazement that they could be vegan: they taste exactly like Wine Gums - just without the animal brain (to put it bluntly!). They are perhaps on the pricey side for the size of the box, but as the odd treat, they are brilliant.
Friendly Soap Cocoa Butter Facial Cleansing Bar, RRP £2.49/95g
Hydrating, nourishing and ideal for all skin types, we've been using this little bar of loveliness to wash our hands with, and it's helping to prevent dry skin - great stuff!
