I thought I would use my blog post this week as a chance to give you a little overview on what White Rabbit Skincare got up to in the month of September!
Firstly, exactly a month ago to this date, White Rabbit's team expanded and I joined as the new marketing and business development assistant, with this brought White Rabbit Skincare's website makeover!
September also saw us attend our first trade show, Scotland's trade fair, at the SEC in Glasgow where we met so many lovely traders and gained a new stockist which was great. We had a lovely time at the trade show and hope to attend the next in January 2018.
This takes me onto my third point...in September alone, White Rabbit Skincare managed to secure three new stockists! We are absolutely delighted to announce that Island Blue (Tobermory), Haddington Herbals (Haddington) and Dumfries House all now stock White Rabbit Skincare.
As if the month couldn't get any better for us, White Rabbit Skincare got certified by The Vegan Society. This is something that really means so much to us, as selling cruelty- free, and vegan friendly skincare products is what makes us White Rabbit Skincare, and we know how important this is to our customers, so we could not be happier with our new certification.
Can I have a drumroll please....Melanie, our founder, was named Winner of the Young Inspiring Business Woman of the Year in the 2017 ASB National Business Awards- How amazing is this achievement!! But after all of her hard work, she most definitely deserves it! The awards don't stop there... White Rabbit Skincare was announced Winner of East Ayrshire Enterprise Award 2017 by The Princes Trust Enterprise Awards and we are over the moon with this!
And last but certainly not least, White Rabbit Skincare HQ received a really lovely, handwritten card from Scotland's First Minister, Nicola Sturgeon, who kindly let us know that she is a fan of our products.
So, that us for September. We have had a busy but really enjoyable month. Let's hope October is just as good!
